About the Role
The HR & Administration Manager will be responsible for leading human resources, office administration, and expatriate support functions including visa, work permit, and BOI compliance. This role requires fluency in Thai and English, strong organizational skills, and experience in managing people and processes in line with Thai law and international standards.
1. Human Resource Management
• Lead end-to-end HR processes: recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, performance management, and exit formalities
• Maintain HR records, staff contracts, leave/attendance systems
• Support talent acquisition campaigns and internship programs
• Coordinate with department heads on staffing needs and hiring plans
• Ensure compliance with Thai Labor Law and employee benefits regulations
2. Visa & Work Permit Support
• Manage visa, work permit, and 90-day reporting process for foreign staff
• Liaise with BOI One-Stop Service Center, Immigration Bureau, and Labor Department
• Track and renew all permits and documentation in a timely manner
• Support foreign employees in document preparation and appointment scheduling
3. Office & Administrative Management
• Oversee daily office operations including facilities, supplies, equipment
• Maintain documentation for BOI reporting and corporate filings
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, staff events, and travel
• Manage vendor contracts (cleaning, security, internet, courier, etc.)
• Maintain insurance policies, company assets register, and petty cash records
4. Policy & Compliance
• Develop and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook
• Coordinate staff training on HR, compliance, and ethics
• Prepare HR/administrative reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Support the leadership team on legal and compliance documentation
Requirements
Thai national with proficiency in both Thai and English, both spoken and written
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
At least 5 years of experience in HR and administrative roles, ideally within international or BOI-registered organizations
Comprehensive understanding of Thai labor law, work permit/visa procedures, and BOI regulations
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing confidential information
Experience in startups, social enterprises, or development organizations
Knowledge of HRMS/HRIS tools and digital filing systems
Basic understanding of finance or bookkeeping for administrative purposes
